Total Biology
This health restoration approach integrates knowledge from diverse fields such as academic medicine, biology, psychology, Jungian philosophy, observations from the natural world, Kabbalah, psychogenealogy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Its primary goal is to identify the root cause of an illness using several tools and concepts, including
-
personal life line analysis,
-
biological memory cell cycles,
-
autonomous age and its repetitive cycles,
-
P/P - project/purpose period,
-
and family tree examination.
The method emphasizes the belief that the human body has the innate ability to heal itself once the primary cause of illness is identified. During therapy, patients are guided to recognize and understand the emotional triggers that underlie their suffering, with the help of attending physicians or therapists who assist in decoding the illness and interpreting the body's messages.
While the original concept of this method discourages medical interventions, patients are free to make their own decisions regarding conventional treatments such as surgery, chemotherapy, or pharmacological therapies, after discussing and agreeing upon them with their healthcare provider.
Dr. Claude Sabbah, an oncologist and psychotherapist who studied GNM, is the creator of this approach, which he named Total Biology (BT). Sabbah expanded on Dr. Hamer's teachings by incorporating insights from various disciplines like Kabbalah and Eastern medicine. Through a series of trainings and public lectures, Sabbah popularized the method, making it more accessible beyond hospital settings.
Today, the legacy of Total Biology continues through dedicated practitioners and successors like Dr. Gerard Athias and Gilbert Renaud, who contribute invaluable knowledge and advancements to the method.
